Ha, that’s great! I never wore shorts until I moved on south myself, either. I remember trying to buy swimming trunks in Burlington, VT a few years back – everything was huge! I settled on a blue floral-print pair I claimed I was wearing for “ironic” value, but really I selected out of sheer despondency and desparation for something in which to swim.

if the new sunshine/lollipops shirts said “if your politics are reasonable you have no soul” on them (as a tag line) i’d be more likely to buy them.
