Tee pee. I get it! Yesterday I noticed 5 twelve packs of it in the back of my wife’s car. I asked (hopefully) if we had a grudge against a high school teacher and a childish revenge plan or something. Alas no. Just on sale.
dangit, i was gonna note teepee.
I have been racking my brain trying to remember what name you Americans call “coriander” for a couple of weeks now… thanks!
Coriander is the seed, cilantro is the green part.
“cilantro” is usually in it’s fresh form, usually to be accompanied with lime or some hot and spicy flavors. coriander is a thing in a jar in the spice cabinet. i didnt know they were the same thing.

If you’re making some real fancy type chili, it is a good idea to use both the ground coriander seed and then mix in the fresh cilantro at the end. Being they are the same plant, they complement each other beautifully!
