The air DOES smell like garbage here in NYC. I was out of town for the smell that actually made the news, but I kept wondering how anyone could tell — would it really be so different?
I also like being able to see.
SF smells mostly like urine and food (different food depending on the district).
Detroit for the most part smells like nothing. You need concentrated human activity to generate odors. Dublin will forever be associated in my mind with the smell of a clean, wet hound.
