My girlfriend has an exercycle for a computer chair with a plank of wood for the desk. One of the supports for the plank of wook is my computer sofa. The other support is a complicated arrangement involving firewood and DVD containers. I also have an upside-down table top for a work desk in the kitchen with boxes of Lego for the legs. My rain coat hangs from a metre-long steel ruler that overhangs from the top of the sliding door mechanism for the kitchen. We have two chests of drawers in the wardrobe.
Our dinner table is a lovely slab of travertine with matching base. We had a glass top made for it. It’s covered with my hobby junk now so we eat meals sitting at our desks in front of our computers. Old marrieds…
