I went to the supermarket after work. I looked into the milk cabinet, and everyone had been taking the cartons from the front as usual, but the cartons at the back hadn’t been sliding down to the front, so I was unable to reach high and far enough back to get the next one.
I had to buy a different brand.
Any chance you are going to enable comments like these for the actual cartoons? I’m sure you have your reasons…but are they good enough? And put me down for a donation derby book.
Shopping with someone is always harder than shopping alone. But at least it ensures that someone will be able to reach the things you want.
But really, there are sesame flavored chips avaliable? That’s even better than melon cream soda.
On an unrelated note, I’d be up for buying a Donation Derby book.
The reason comments aren’t enabled for the Cat and Girl cartoons is that Donation Derby is archived by WordPress, which has a pretty automated comments system, while Cat and Girl is archived by a program my brother wrote in 2003. (Hi, Sam.)
As a web-illiterate person, I accept your reasons as “good enough.” But I still think it would be cool. Maybe you could use something like Haloscan?
I hope Mr. Chen at least eats his special requests. My live in manchild goes all starry-eyed and drooly-mouthed over various childrens cereals which sit unopened in our cupboard for months. Sigh.
Yes I would be interested in a Donation Derby book! I love Donation Derby. I donated to you once and you drew kind of a creepy cartoon for it. I guess it was just my bad timing.
It’s a grab bag full of forks, Donation Derby is. Work on the book has commenced.
