Welcome to the West… Have a nice day, while you’re there ;-)
Apparently this is a universal Ace Hardware thing. When I do let them help me, it doesn’t work, as I tend to know more about it than they, and seem more familiar with the store layout then them. (Imagine their surprise that the pipe fittings where under “plumbing” and not in the automotive section they first went to! And that yes, there really is such a thing as a “pipe wrench”!)
Am I the only one who notices the alt tags don’t work in Safari? They work on the junky Netscape browser in OS/2 at work. (IBM is wierd) but whenever I’m at home, I can’t shake the feeling that I’m missing half of the joy.
they show up like normal in my safari
They tought you were stealing. Employees Hassle you when you look shifty, poor, or when your coat has too many pockets.
No, most corporate stores require it. My store has the ten foot rule. If anyone comes within ten feet of me, they must be greeted and offered help. If I don’t approach every customer, man, do I hear about it. 8)
