Hmm. The kitty litter cat is literate!
hyuck hyuck. Must be Cat Fancy or an Edward Gorey Collection.
Damn! It was catfood! Now my not-so-clever joke is even more unclever! I have soiled my honour.
UTI catfood!? Shouldn’t the cat be drinking Cranberry Juice instead of Ginger Ale in that case?
Do you ever see the banana boxes full of misc. singles at your safeway? Best deal around is the mystery box of beers.
I too once saw a banana box full of miscellaneous single beers (“loose beer” in the jargon of our grocery store). It was quite a deal at $13 for what ended up lasting two people almost a month.
You should try to go to your grocery store late on friday nights, to try to catch the mythical banana box beer beast.
Love, love, love The Basement Apartments. Dorothy you are the coolest and the best.
And Mister Chen too. He’s pretty okay in my book.
Ha, ha! I, too, thought that the picture on the cat food bag looked like Pucci sitting on the toilet, reading a newspaper. I love reading these; your comics are completely relevant and make me feel like my life is not as extraordinarily mundane as I thought. There ARE other people out there like me and my friends, after all!
