Brokeback Mountain is a terrible movie.
It was really sad. The characters almost uniformly suffered, very few of them blamelessly. I enjoyed it in that “I’m glad my life is nothing like this” way.
David, “If you can’t fix it, you gotta stand it.”
True enough, I just dont understand why it was such a huge deal in the gay community when there are so many more inspiring, well done gay-focused films out there…
So am i the only one who say paradise now instead?
I think “Jnna ElAn” was an important film, aside from simply making some very clear insights i think it also ways something as to upcoming quality of Middle Eastern film. too bad it was pretty much all dialect though.
Paradise Now over brokeback any goddamn day of the week. Ang Lee needs to stop being rewarded for making absurd excessively touching films. they don’t work.
