  1. no, they dont live that long in Arizona. they do have a large retiree population and they dont like to be bugged about things like renewing their driver licenses. and the elderly always vote in block come election time…

  2. The oldest population in North America gets to drive basically forever without having to prove that they can hear, see, stand, etc? Jiminy Christmastree!

  3. Hey, let them be, without a significant number of natural predators to keep the human population down, they’ll help. Besides, it also helps add to the traffic. And don’t we all love to sit in traffic?

  4. @Ross: pretty much. they got slow reflexes and failing vision and their hearing is all but gone but you’ll be damned if you try to take their cars away. they need their independence! the good thing is that they drive large vehicles slowly and they cant see over the steering wheel so as long as you dont have your back turned agains incoming traffic you can jump out of the way when they jump the curb and mow down a whole starbucks full of people when the forget which pedal is the accelerator and which is the brake…
