It is too simplistic and literal a comic for this meeting to have been put off any longer. Dog and Boy were supposed to be one joke characters. Boy got the short end of every stick and Dog’s only thought ever was “Kill.” Dog’s joke wasn’t terribly funny, and he disappeared before “everyone likes Dog better than Boy” and “Dog spends all his time telling Boy to kill people” could be introduced.
