I got a version of the ‘raggedy britches’ song, taped off a john peel program, by a band called Easter. They called it ‘This is a Splashdown’. I can’y find it on CD, tho.
It’s a theme song now.
I must say, I have never heard of Malvina Reynolds until now – and I have a new understanding of ticky-tacky! Wow. Revelations!
