Everything in panel 5 is like they are radical archivists lamenting the colonial/imperialist artifact of provenance destruction in seized collections. Evidential value? Pssh who needs that when we can mount captured culture on our walls!

The natives died, but the locals threw the colonialists out.

…BTW, the title of this would make a sweet band name.

Oh, and the colonialists came back as multinationals…sigh!

I can’t figure out what’s in Cat’s hand in the last panel. Also, I feel like Cat & Girl has been /especially/ good for the last 3 or 4 months. I can’t imagine thinking these up week after week; it’s way impressive!

I’m not going to deconstruct this comic. I’m just going to say that it’s great.

@Dennis – I agree. When Dorothy said she was cutting back on weekly posts I was disappointed, but I feel like the quality has gone up since then. More bitter, pleasurably scathing social commentary per panel!
