I feel like this would have worked a lot better without the last bit of dialogue.
Actualy its Pheobsky posting, but I couldn’t break the pattern…
Nah I think the last bit of dialogue gives it a an extra punch- giving that moment of realisation, yeah the notion could be done through subtlety, but the joke needs dialogue.

Oliver makes a good point — this is what New Yorker cartoons would be like if they were funny.
And I’m with “T” — Girl’s realization at the end really makes it work.
