Three cheers for a Huck Finn reference.
I remember when I was 14 I told a friend I still liked a song from the previous month. He said only 13-year-olds listened to it by then.
Looking back, I realise he was just trying to be the first among us to get into cultural disposability.
I was into Cat and Girl before you started drawing it.
I liked George Sanders before I knew who George Saunders was.
I was into this comic for the first two panels, then it got too popular and I was so over it. By the last couple it had become a parody of itself and I was able to enjoy it ironically. Now that it’s over I say we wait ten years then revive it.
oneupmashippers union will call on all members to walk of the job over contract language which currently allows supervisors to deny education benefits and increases in health care deductions. Please join us and show your support.
I still like X. Never get tired of John and Exene.
Do you mean X the band or X the drug?
Actually nevermind, I like it ambiguous.
Was it really necessary to drag Seijun Suzuki’s great films into this mess?
I still like X the band
I’m over X the drug
I never liked X the letter
When I read this comic M.I.A. was on tv so she must be irrelevant now.
I would so buy a “I am the last dauphin” shirt.
id buy it first
I’d buy it second
no I wouldn’t, sorry
Okay, I would, I just worked out why it was funny, sorry about that.
Giving up on veganism sucks.
Cat didn’t give up! He’s post-vegan!
Sriracha – NHÃN CON NGỖNG BAY
TU’O’NG ĂN PHỚ HIỆU
I was saying I was into things before they were popular before it was popular to say you were into things before they were popular.
I was finally beaten down and tired of everything before you developed and lost your last ten enthusiasms.

Just saying… I like to stay a solid decade behind current fashions. Or… I like to pretend to. New music is guilty pleasure.
mm, more hot sauce!
one blast of roach-bomb and all the toppers come out to die.
ive only started reading cat and girl recently
Curiously, there’s always one person who is first to desire the punchline on a t-shirt, but this utterance seems one-up proof–no one says, for instance, “I wanted this comic on a shirt first.”
…OR DO THEY?
Panel 6 – Is Girl biting her lip so hard it’s bleeding?
I liked things without worrying about whether I had ulterior motives before reading these comics.
I embraced the out of touch Eurocentric preening of self -proclaimed high culture as a counterpoint to the insincere obsession with mainstream cultural icons and infantile attempts to return to childhood through nostalgia of twenty-something hipsters before any of you.
I was never into any of the things you got over.
I loved lamp before it was a meme! . . . probably shouldn’t admit that.
Did you really like Lamp before it was a meme, or are you just saying that because you see a bunch of people proclaiming to like things before others liked it?
I’m currently into 19th century American utopian communities, altered fashion dolls, the Tale Type index, Burl Ives, The James Tiptree Awards, and walking to work. None of my friends care – we just catch up on what everyone’s family is up to and then play Scrabble.
I unironically like Heavy Metal
This is goddamn hilarious. Damn you Cat & Girl for making me want to share and post every damn comic you do.
It’s all Jonesing. I’ll be the Duke for Cat’s humbug traveling road show.
I am Andy Kaufman’s lost ____________
