It was Chris who convinced me to start posting these cartoons online (he was a big fan of Space Moose). It was Chris who I made draw this cartoon, and it’s a goofy photo of Chris that appears here.
I remember Dorothy’s first reaction to getting this back being “why would you draw Girl with long sleeves?” I hadn’t ever noticed that she had short sleeves, and now it’s the first thing I notice every time.
In panel 5, Cat is giving the People’s Eyebrow. I was also a big fan of the WWF at the time.
And her eyes are supposed to be hearts in the last panel, but I think I drew them too small for late 90’s scanner technology to deal with.
Poor monster, just goes to show the level of inter-species prejudice that goes on today. Merely opening your mouth to express your opinions as a reptile elicits attacks and dashing heroics by protagonistic guest-stars with intent to vocalize pithy one liner’s.
