cry for no reason. will do. happens. ha. why do I cry when I suppress everything that upsets me in the world? and why do we say there’s no reason when we simply ignore the reason?

isn’t that why they invented anti-depression drugs?

    “Make it easy
    Make this easy
it´s not as heavy as it seems
    Wrapped in metal
    wrapped in ivy
paint it in mint ice cream”

Not quite the same context, yet fitting in a way.

We painted the kitchen orange and now we pretend the murky tap water is luxurious orange juice. It worked well until the scurvy set in. Horrible, horrible scurvy…

In times like these I like to apply the Disney songs that carried a philosophy in them. Namely the Hanuka matata song from the lion king. and the bear necessities song from the jungle book. It’s helped me out in some pretty tough spots in the past I don’t see why it can’t help now.

Each panel is labeled with a “what to do” phrase that begins with a verb. Therefore I will follow the final panel’s suggestion and go find some food I might comfort. Poor leftovers!

I like the lighting in this one. I love the phrase “economic times”. The trick is to never have been rich in the first place; the changes are barely noticeable.
