I think WE are all in Freud’s dream, and he’s about to wake up!

I think dream meanings vary a lot by person. Freud says tooth loss dreams symbolize castration. I had a dream of tooth loss once, and it clearly symbolized the fact that my retainer fell out while I was sleeping.

I also once had a dream where a lizard symbolized an aloe plant. Seriously. I dreamt I had pet lizards that kept losing their tails, and the tail stumps looked like cut-off aloe leaves instead of real tails. When I woke up, I found my aloe plant had fallen on the floor. I must have knocked it over and noticed only subconsciously, and my dream was trying to let me know that my plant was in trouble.

Funny, Freud used to have that dream, too.

Good ol’ “make it up without any rigor whatsoever and have the audacity to call yourself a scientist.” In this century, maybe Freud would have been an advocate of intelligent design.

@sev actually he was a hardcore scientist, who tried to understand the human mind. It took him long enough to realise that you cant force scientific methods on a human mind. So he used the next best thing, he just listened to some people and cured some of them on the way.
Anyway fortunately freud still matters in some parts of the world

Would have been a lot funnier if she’d said Jung.

Panel 1 resolves the ancient question: “Does Girl sleep in a completely vertical bed, or is it just the perspective?” Huzzah!

Also…I hope Erika’s aloe plant survived OK. Dreams are interesting things…
