I wanted to name our cat “Cat”, but my then-girlfriend (now wife) wouldn’t allow it. So I think naming our daughter “Girl” would be way, way out of the question. As in, sleeping on the couch for a week, out of the question. We did settle on naming her Wednesday, however.

Well, we named our cat “Katze” (“cat” in German) because we lacked in ideas.
