Makes you wonder how many people in history have traded their children for money to a rich pedophile.

Approx. seventy five million. Sometimes the pedophile wasn’t THAT rich.

I would have thought it would be higher. But then, how do you measure pedophilia in cultures where you were elderly if you made it to 40?

And girls were married and had a kid of their own by twelve?

Now, now, fourteen at the youngest. If your diet consists of a kilo of bread daily and a bit of cheese for flavor, you don’t hit puberty very early.

The Greek word “philo” refers to a non-sexual kind of love; which is why it always strikes me odd that people use it to describe child molesters and rapists.

I know I’m nit-picking, but as a bibliophile, I don’t like people getting the wrong idea about me. I love books, but I don’t, um, “love” books, if you know what I mean.
