'They're going to kill us all to build a beach resort' says Girl, relaxing on a towel at the beach. 'Palestinians - Albanians - grad students - doctors - teachers - unemployed - they're going to kill us all to build a beach resort.' The tide draws the water up to where Cat and Girl sit. 'Of course it's EASIER when we're unemployed - poor - desperate. So you build a technology that you say can do our work. And it doesn't matter if it can do the work well - what matters is your job is gone. Of course it's EASIER when we're isolated.' They are surrounded by water. 'So you build a technology that fills the tools we use to communicate with CONTENT made by NOBODY. The people with power - the people with money - see our humanity as an obstacle - and US - as expendable. And they're going to kill us all to build a beach resort.' They put on their snorkels as the water covers them. 'But there are greater forces in this world. And one day the beach, too, will be gone.' They sit silently beneath the waves. 'Joke's on them' says Cat.
