Cat is absolutely correct. If you make sufficiently witty conversation over chips and salsa, employers will not think to contemplate how you did on your GRE.
Or maybe cat is letting her know he did terribly. After all, if your grade is “chips and salsa” on a test where you pass on a percentile basis, chances are you sucked at it greatly. Or chips and salsa is cat’s comfort food for doing terribly on it. like alcohol is for me! You could easily replace “liquor” for “chips and salsa” in this comic and it still applies
All that and passing up the easy punchline. Not “How did you do on the GRE” but “What did you get on the GRE”. But I’m lazy. Wordplay is always easier than high concept.

Ah, conceptual art… See, the *theory* is that there’s a new cartoon posted..but the practice? Incisive meta-commentary!

I love how quickly these comments degenerated. And by “love” I mean “cried at”. Obviously the comic exists, it is gone due to problems.

The GED is a high school equivalency test. The GRE is required to get into graduate school.

I’m tired of people complaining about the posture in these comics. Chiropractors are expensive. Back pain is not.
June 7, 2011
Chiropractors are also hacks

My answer is usually chips and hummus. Or falafel. Or both…
When there’s confusion I usually just revert to 42.
August 9, 2023
I’m going to be 42 soon.
