    Does this mean that if I sold my soul to Satan, all I would get is a dinette set?

    @Eddie

    In most of those parts of the world, the price level is substantially lower than it is in the United States, and, more importantly, many sectors of the economy are not monetized, so the purchasing power of money wages may be an inaccurate means of valuing one’s soul.

    But yeah, their lives are horrible.

    I’ve heard of people trying to sell their souls on eBay, but whenever I search eBay for “soul” I just get music CDs.

    I suppose I would sell my soul if I had any soul. But I only have Daft Punk and Muse.

    Umm- did anyone else notice the differnce btwn “fleeting” and “fleeing”? “Fleeting” doesn’t mean fame and fortune are going anywhere; it means they don’t last.

    @robin

    Elementary thermodynamics suggests that fame and fortune, after observed in their ‘fleeting’ moments, must ‘go’ somewhere.

    Duh.

    I think its safe to say that fame and fortune go to someone else after theyve robbed you of your soul. i was never famous or rich, i just make my boss richer.
