Apropos of nothing, I just figured out the subtext of the transformers franchise.
It is written off as a mere advertisement for a line of toys, whose operation is analogous to the procedure of maintaining the firing mechanism of a gun.
The earth is a representation of afganistan, the autobots are the USA, the decepticons are Russia.
The witwicky family are the Afghanis who cooperate, and the rest of the humans are faceless nobodys who die in the background…
A few updates to the modern movies, did they do a terrorist angle yet? I have been away…
