    nonsentient AI! I’d like nonsentient AI to be able to look at new ideas, like my human ideas, and figure out better versions and test them.

    You’ve possibly heard that superconductors can do things like make electric car motors work twice as well. I paused while reading your comic and thought of some things, and it would be great if AI could just come up with better versions that work better. You being an artists enthuses me, and I like being an inventor, where I write stuff like:

    wikipedia says that at some 2022 AD superconductors pairs of electrons form phonons, it likely does not work, but things with momentum tend to have their traversal less disturbed, plasmonics is like lots more moving electrons than 2, what if there were moving momentumal plasmonics, or even circling toroidal plasmonics that had superconducting pairs, the pairs would have briefer interactions, which might be good, but more interactions, which sound destabilizing, at something like a ball bearing raceway toroid, separated pairs could whiz around in circles, lasting longer and have higher transition kelvins. the nuclei are a puzzle, or maybe not considering you can overload a single atom with a whole bunch of electrons simultaneously, but its possible to imagine a lewis dot diagram 8 dot noble gas with like :R: with 8 dots, having some kind of octet rule like hyperstability as a superconductivity stability increaser, also there’s a big perimeter reduction when cocci bacteria are at groups of four :: and I think they are survival advantaged, if they can do genetic algorithms or stochastic/sequential AFM atom arrangements, maybe they can find occurences where 4 electrons form a superconducting quartet together that is highly resistant to disruption and has a much higher transition kelvins, a wacky idea would be a germanium column cubic lattice element, even tin, where the the squares met corner to corner, at a partial jack shape of flat parallelogram fan, right where they meet, 4 electrons could tend to be at, more stably, made with an AFM, utilizing also Silver (2 electron motion), potassium and iodine as different versions some 4 electron superstable superconductor might be possible
