I realised quite young that tribal adornings and groups were full of shit when the hip hop kids would naively mock the rock kids by wrongly generalising about how lame their music was ‘all about slitting wrists’ and then the rock kids would be just as naïve about hip hop being entirely about bitches money drugs and gunz.
