Being part of a culture is a choice, really. You can’t escape things like language and historical background, but of course none of the “cultures” referenced in this comic have either, so it’s all good.
That is an amazing phrase, if it’s not already a likeable page on Facebook, I will make it one. Take THAT, counterculture! Or would it be countercounterculture? Or maybe a zen “not culture, not not culture” culture. That’s the hipster ideal, I suppose.
