Cat, a medieval bard playing a lute: Power is a prison Girl, a crusading knight: We're afraid we'll face a moral challenge and be found wanting / Cat: Wealth is a prison Girl: The richest among us have already lost / They approach a dragon guarding a treasure chest. Cat: Status is a prison Girl: Owning the most makes them the weakest / Girl swings her sword at the dragon. Cat: Respectability - class norms - are prisons Girl: They need to defend the systems that granted them success - however small - however meagre / Girl plunges the sword into the dragon's neck, killing it. Girl: All success is a prison Cat: Only the true loser has eyes that see / She carries the treasure chest away. Girl: Prison is also a prison Cat: That's the worst one

I have enjoyed watching Cat and Girl’s slow evolution from “everything is in black and white” to “maybe there is some colour here and there” to like “rich colour with background haze and stuff”
