Pretty much summarizes the spinning of that relentless wheel. Too many people have made themselves extremely frustrated in the “pursuit of happiness” because they equated happiness with the accumulation of wealth.
As one of my friends summarized it, “Either I have a lot of money and no time to do anything with it, or lots of time to think about all the things I could do and no money to do them.”
Finding that happy medium where reduced expectations and sufficient money to meet needs allows free time for serenity and enjoyment of life… while you’re alive.
