Phyllis had her own spinoff from Mary Tyler Moore too. It didn’t last very long.
Also, Lou Grant was kind of a spinoff, but it pissed me off, because the character was nothing like the Lou Grant in the original show.
It was like they were saying, this is Lou Grant in an alternate reality where things are dramatic instead of funny, and we aren’t gonna acknowledge anything about his origins.
