I love the way there’s no extraneous dialogue in these comics! Like that last panel – I can’t imagine what Cat or Girl could be saying that would make that better.
I found this comic (and Salmon’s comment) extra-funny because yesterday I noticed a giant tennis racket in a shop window and mentioned to my friend that it surely proves the existence of (fantasy) giants, right there.
I only barely know enough about tennis, Flushing Meadows, Corona Park, blimps, Cat’s wry sense of humor, and Girl’s dislike of authority, to get this joke… or maybe I made up my own punchline unintentionally. Either way LOL!
