But Zune is a much more superior technology. Well, maybe I’m a bit biased. But I love my Zune, even though I insist on buying CDs and ripping them. It’s the concept that ownership isn’t real unless the object is real. A digital song is not real. In a sense, it hearkens back to when bards would sing a song for a small price.

Discorporation of music means the performance becomes more important. The files become advertisements for the performance.
