Questioning how watching athletic men wrestle and play on television makes one masculine is a good way to avoid having friends in high school.
I used to call him “hipster vampire,” but somewhere along the way that word came to mean something entirely different, so now I will bow to change and refer to him as others do, “former beatnik vampire.”
That said, I think the beard really works for him.
I managed to avoid all but 5 minutes of the Olympics. I had a higher opinion of the Paraolympics but heard today (on BBC News radio) that disabled athletes deliberately break their toes to get an advantage in their sport (something to do with an adrenalin rush)!?
