    I’ve never regretted a moment of being genuinely fake.

    I think I would get along better if I were less inclined to avoid insincerity. Like, every now and then I might accidentally display some mannerism that people will find endearing, and then I will deliberately never do it again because I hate affectations.

    And then I wonder why no one invites me to parties.

    OMG. The receipt dispeared Girl into the everyday! This run continues to deliver. I love the non-traditional drawing material… perfect.

    Oh David that
    Is so you.

    @mindysan
    It kind of looks like the receipts are a layer applied to the background after the comic image was created on a separate layer desu. Which does not alter the maximum isness of this business arimasu ne?

    @ Idkrash — that seems likely. I have no idea of all this fancy put stuffs on the internets. I’m lucky if I can upload a document somewhere… and I’m teaching young people now. Scary. >_<

    For living in a time where we’re so (supposedly) immersed in fantasy and escapism, and able to create our own selves without shame…it seems people are quicker than ever to unabashedly reduce each other to their bottom line. Money, power, looks, status…you need some kind of platform just to be able to complain about it.

    I have not lied. I have not been a hypocrite. I have not swerved from righteousness. I’ve tried all those things, but sometimes it’s more important to be true to yourself.

    I hate you, Dorothy. I have worked as a cashier, and we are given speed scores on every transaction, and we get a failing score every single time a customer wastes our time by counting out coins in order to get a round number in change. I hope your $17.00 was worth it.
