It’s strange to me that I can go back and comment on cartoons that didn’t have a comment feature when they started. Like I can participate in the past. History 2.0. Do I get more credits for it in my degree in deconstruction? Is the cat depicted in this cartoon dead now, as I write this comment from The Future? Has he failed in his mission? Perhaps the internet is really the time travelers conventions.
I wonder why all the comments I’ve seen so far seem to be from within a year of when they added the ability to comment. Surely new people who just discovered the comic look through these old ones?
Also, I like this comment system; it is so relaxing. You don’t need to make an account; there is no voting, or reacting, and all comments are just sorted by date. It’s just not really something that exists these days.

I was wondering why all the comments I saw were from the last two years, even while the comic seems to be several years old than that. No wonder.

Death is, somewhat ironically, the life of the party.

For the first time, I just observed the six year gap between comment and comic. What A Muggins I am for not seeing it sooner.
