Ironic T-shirt, but with a side of unimaginable historical suffering. Sounds pretty good, actually. I’d wear one if I weren’t afraid of being lynched in the street.
Good to know that fascism can still provide an anchor for our lives by annexing an otherwise semantically innocuous phrase. It makes Godwin’s Law vaguely redundant.
I’d wear that t-shirt. But I like to be vaguely offensive. Plus, it’s easy to not care about the suffering of Jews from almost seventy years ago. But, hey, most people–even Jews–wouldn’t know what the reference was anyway, so you can get your indie rocks off by looking down on people who aren’t offended.
But seriously, I’d wear that t-shirt.
When Americans flee their failing state, and emigrate to Australia, they’re not sending their best.
They’re sending thier corporate raiders, their xenophobic delusional confederate civil war re-creationist,
And some, I assume, are rapists.
Saw the confederates marching in an Australia day/Invasion day parade.
Parades are new on me, I’ve seen pageants, but this was a new coat of crap on an old pile of turds.
In Australia fascism isn’t “I was just following orders”
Instead “that’s not my job” is the cause celebre of the police, and child molesters, whose victims still live, are written off as “historical”
And the world rolls, the Christians tithe, and vote to do what they like, to turn a blind eye,
To kill all who oppose, to bring jesus with the sword, and treat it like you have a choice.

“Arbit macht pie” should be on a t-shirt. …On second thought, that is a horrible idea.

I’d wear one anyway.

@Not So Bad a Dude: It’s a pun on “Arbeit macht frei” (work makes one free), the slogan the Nazis put above Auschwitz.
