    A Bohemian WAS a gypsy who had traveled to Western Europe through Bohemia, or, you know, a person who literally lived in or was from Bohemia.

    In the Sherlock Holmes story, “A Scandal In Bohemia”, the word is used in both senses. First to describe Holmes, who lived unconventionally and “loathed every form of society”; second, to describe the King of Bohemia, who was actually from there.

    Not a murderer, but the recollection of a child who had to leave life and friends and school.
    To flee a coun

    Raised in a culture, within another culture, that had burned people (Galileo) for academic pursuits he shared, and still persecuted who he was just by existing.

    If he chose to go public.

    Maybe It started off angry and accusatory, a litany of the struggle, but inspiration takes over, and it’s not like people are going to listen to something they don’t want to hear.

    So roll with it. Write the song. Entertain. That’s your job.

    Pepper your work with little questions. The annoying kind that have answers that need to be looked for.

    Someone will look eventually.

    And sometimes it’s best to remain enigmatic.
    To become a symbol.
    And song is a powerful way to communicate.

    Sometimes it’s the small things that change the world.

    Sometimes they’re beautiful.

    And sometimes they’re bullets.

    I know which I prefer.

    To flee a country where his people were persecuted, and his mother had to kill a man to protect him…
    I’ll have to redo a bit of research there…
