You laugh, but QVC salespeople adlibbing is awkward enough that some compilation of it borders art. Put it next to a compilation of weathermen who can’t get their green screens to work and you got yourself a gallery opening.
I once watched a movie named “Fried green tomatoes”. It was most affecting, hearfelt drama with very earthy atmosphere. I also was very young. I think I should watch it again to really verify my most positive notion of it.
Pommes de terre make great pommes frites. French fry in pretentious American, Freedom fries to even more pretentious Americans who were ignorant that it’s an American name for fried potato sticks. I prefer fish’n chips. The potato pieces are larger and nicely steamy inside.

They are good on some things. Like the sandwich that I have for lunch so often which also has avocado, mozzarella, oregano and olive oil. Delicious.
