Ballad of a Routine

I kinda have an “outfit” for myself too. Sometimes I get self conscious when I realize I look like I’ve worn the exact same clothes several days in a row.

I find that if I have a routine for my job it makes my free time, when there’s no routine and I can be spontaneous, feel that much freer. Granted it’s only evenings and two days a week, but it’s better than nothing.

Grabbed this for my blog project, as it seemed somewhat fitting. (If that’s not cool I can totally replace the image with a picture of a big sad face crying a single tear).

I was sort of thinking about this the other day as well. At least, if I interpret correctly. I find that if we are too preoccupied with the immediate matters, the things presently in our face but not necessarily of lasting importance, we lose track of our direction in life.

I can get so frustrated watching other people fall for that trap, but the sad thing is I am no better myself.
