Classic Mad Magazine stuff from Cat.
If all plans of vengeance involved hugs, the world would be a better place.
If that truly is a revenge-bot, then that hug is somehow hurting Boy’s enemies.
I.E., “Somebody cares about me! In your FACE, world!”
The best revenge is happiness.
Awww… Cat looks more out of sorts in the last panel than any other.
oh cat. i own both of those books.
Ha ha ha ha great vegan recipes ha ha ha, tee hee.
…and so that awful naysaying Cat who made Boy feel so unsure of his brilliant plan was neatly savaged by Revenge-Bot’s well-timed affection.
Super-Cute, Dorothy. Well Done.
are you implying, then, that edmond dantes and bruce wayne are emotionally unhealthy?
I like to think that when Girl is busy, Cat wanders around town and shares his random thoughts and stories with ANYONE that will listen.
I like strips with Boy in them. He feels unhappy because people who aren’t worth his time don’t pay attention to him. I think I identify with him more than any other character.
I wonder if he also feels insecure because there isn’t any merchandise with him on it. Even Napoleon gets a badge.
It is not a boy’s world.
headline: well-timed clever cuteness saves local teacher’s day.
Dammit lady, I needed this heart to live and you just went and melted it!
Hugging robots break (brake?) my heart. Chris Ware did a beautiful one long ago, with a sadder ending, natch.
And the moral of the story is… metal claws are very hard to open and they cut through flesh easily, so always follow rules of technics of safety!
Find metal, bucket, hammer. Bang metal with hammer. Plug in. Hugs!
*gasp!* such vengeance! such unrequited vengeance!
