A more sedentary Led Zeppelin returned to the studio in the early 2000s, yet “Escalator to Heaven” was never released to the public.
An up escalator is also a down treadmill. You can always go back down if you try.
Re the Led Zeppelin comment: I think you’ll find they’ve had to revamp it as “Stairlift to Heaven” as part of their discount deal with Stannah.
As I was going up the stair, I met a man who wasn’t there. He wasn’t there again today… Oh how I wish he’d go away!
