The Hindenburg had a dining area. The ride was so smooth you could stand up a flat-ended pen on the table without it tipping.
There’s been a recent idea to bring back dirigible flight, now that we have space age materials to make them safer and more economical. Sadly, all the new dirigible concepts I’ve seen have been no more luxurious than the typical airliner. They’ve missed the point entirely.

We had special suits for flying for similar reasons, and in some contexts still do. Spaceflight has already abandoned space suits in some contexts, and I see no reason to believe it will not continue to leave them behind.

I like airbus. When flying is common we can dress up for going in space. Then going in space is one step closer to being common.
