I could very well be dense but I don’t see anything political about this. I think folks with An Agenda will see the political in everything they look at. My thought about this particular strip is that maybe if they dumped had dumped all those quarters they might noughta sunk.
I love the grimace on Girl in the penultimate panel. This comic is like an old coffee shop to me, where the barista is reading Finnegan’s Wake with a look of annoyance, not noticing she’s dropped a twenty by the register.
