$7670.64
October 1st, 2009

The second Donation Derby book is finally mostly done (!). It covers two years spent in Tucson, 386 pages and – yes – exactly $7670.64 of donations. While the books won’t get to Topatoco for another month I have a limited number here in boxes on the floor and they are up for sale as signed copies. You will read no other book as fine with such an inadvisable title this year.

Chris Kuan,
These were strips drawn when Dorothy lived in Tucson, a city that only has a woefully inadequate streetcar for rail transportation. The only transit pass she could have used there was a SunTran pass. Now that Dorothy is back in the greatest city in the world, er, NYC, MetroPasses are valid again.

Copy arrived in the mail this afternoon, suitably defaced by the author. Cool! Thanks!

The dramatic readings were those two and a half years of my life. Currently playing: The next Donation Derby book tour, in real time.
