Cheesequake is the name of a place in Central New Jersey. Every time I’ve passed the sign for the Cheesequake rest area on the Garden State Parkways it has always brought up some fascinating imagery in my head.
Don’t worry, it’s rather dreary here. I’ve driven through and visited Cheesequake quite a few times and the only thing I remember from their park is cattails and mosquitoes. I suppose that an earthquake of cheese (landslide? avalanche?)would shake things up a little. (Ah, terrible puns)
One of my favourite things is to Google Street View places I will never visit in real life. Today I explored Cheesequake State Park. And Jon Bon Jovi Service Area which is just up the road.
Usually I prefer to pick locations at complete random. It turns out that USA is mostly just houses with USA flags out the front and also there are lots of eateries with names like ‘Lady Jack’s All You Can Barbeque’.
The most accurate portrayal of USA is a Sean Baker movie.
If you are reading this, please Google Street View for Konini Street in Whanganui in New Zealand. That is where I grew up. I somehow lost a Micro Machine inside one of those fences. Sometimes I wonder if it is still there.

I hope someday I have the dream Cat had.
Then again, since I don’t know what it was, I might have had it already.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!
