The night I spent watching that election was very similar, and I’m not even in the US, but I blamed my American Studies degree then, and still do so now.
Ah, the US election. I went to the bar, drank red wine and read pretentious philosophy all night while listening to people make dumb comments. It was so awesome.
Reading these comments after the election of 2016 makes me want to die a little. You have no idea how bad it can get. Obama’s two terms will seem like a Golden Age to what we have coming.
It got *even worse* than that, Greg… we started getting nostalgic for Dubya. And a bona fide campaign topic this year was which candidate could successfully manage to drink water from a glass. Bbbbbbbbbbbaby, no you ain’t seen nothin’ yet …
