i do this with my own receipts. its like finding a reminder from past-me that i spent too much money on stupid stuff.

I once found a kiss marked note that read “I love not shaving my armpits” tucked between the pages of a library copy of Being and Nothingness.

The next time somebody comes at me with “we are all lying in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars”, I shall parry them with “if we were meant to look at the stars, our feet wouldn’t be so interesting”. Thankyou for that one, I shall be using it surprisingly regularly.
