What’s really funny is that about 130 years later, Hitler though he could do it with tanks. Russian mud, frozen slush and ice were a befitting hell the Wehrmacht ran into. Superior firepower means nothing when you’re pinned down in muck, frozen in place and then have to set fire to all the gearboxes because the oil has turned into stiff jello that won’t flow into the gears and bearings.
It was a good attempt at stopping the crusades, but it just ended up with a rebranding.
The stockholm syndrome play was nasty, and now the war is most likely endless.
Until tectonics comes into play and resets the board…
