  1. That’s depressing. Poor Mr. Chen, I hope that he is able to find a new and better job. He completely deserved that beer. And so did you, after all of your computer problems.

  2. Very sad. At least we can help you drink to forget.
And thanks for the Tequila Mockingbird. I haven’t seen one of those for years. (Check out the first Google image for that name.)

  3. Another good variation on Guess Who is Personality Guess Who, where you ask questions like: Do you ride a motorcycle? or Are you Catholic? A porn star? A child rapist? and see if you can come to the same person based on speculation, it’s a great way to see if your friends share your prejudices.

  4. … sorry, to hear, Mr. Chen.
Once a friend of mine was fired, and we went to a theme park for the day. :) It led to us dating for a couple years: I hope you either didn’t lose the joy, or find it again soon.

  5. This doesn’t really have to do with Donation Derby, but I can’t think of anywhere else to mention how much I enjoy the little extra punchline panels that have been popping up lately at the ends of Cat and Girl. Extra laughs! Extra awesomeness!

I wish I was not flat broke so that I could send you some donation derby love again…maybe I will have a job soon!

  6. Ha, and a week later, my counterpart loses his job, as well. Spooky coincidental not-random economic downturn outcomes!
