Whoa, Continental Drift is one of the greatest depressing novels of our time. Now there was a book recommended on the Cat & Girl “message” portion of the site about two years ago… I want to say it was A Very Long Engagement, but I could be wrong.
Now for a bizarre and ultimately depressing story, try The Boy Detective Fails, by Joe Meno. Can’t be beat!

Right now: “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop.” I can’t read another book “Continental Drift”-level depressing for a little while.
It seems odd to recommend depressing things… but if you’re up for a depressing movie, try the BBC docudrama “Threads.”
