I would settle for a laundromat that did not have a television set.

Lately I’ve been feeling nostalgic for the internet as it existed ten or fifteen years ago. There is a big difference between ten years ago and fifteen years ago, incidentally. Ten years ago seems like about twenty years closer than fifteen years ago.

Anyway, ten years ago I was going about my business, completely unaware this comic existed. My life would be much different, I think, If I had very carefully read this comic ten years ago, and each of the Cat and Girl comics that followed, and spent most my time meditating and living on a near-starvation diet. But things did not turn out that way, so now I’m sitting here completely fat and reading this and thinking about it and wondering where the past twenty years went.

I would forgo my home washer and dryer just to hang out at Girl’s laundromat.

I;ve heard about Cat and Girl for some time now, and now I am dedicating however much time it takes to read your archives. Thanks so much for sticking to it for so long! I’m only coming up on my 8th anniversary of cartooning, and I feel like an absolute grandpa! Albeit, a happy grandpa. I think cartoonists age exponentially.

I like how Cat’s yawn is in cursive here. Makes it seem like one of those drawn-out, slightly rolled yawns on a nice day…
